Hey! I have finally joined Twitter so you can follow what’s going on in the shop. Interesting, I know. My name is knittingparlour but hopefully the Webmaster will be able to put it on the side of the blog if you’re not a twitterer yourself.
Actually, today, new yarn from Sirdar has arrived. It’s called Nomad and it’s a lovely boucle (I know, but honestly it’s not ’80’s) in natural shades with a HIGH natural fibre content. Fabulous patterns too and good yardage. What more could you want? I am tempted to start a cute short sleeved cardi for layering in the autumn and winter but I am going to resist as I just added a baby blanket to my list yesterday for my good friends Stu and Bethan.
Our summer sale has started! We have up to 20% off a good range of yarns including some Rowan cottons, RYC Bamboo Soft, Sirdar Juicy, Araucania cottons, Debbie Bliss Eco and Aran Tweed and lots more bits and pieces too.
The sale will make way for the new yarns some of which have already started arriving. Just today the new Sirdar Nomad came in. It is a boucle in natural shades with some fantastic patterns one of which I have my eye on for my next project.
The Webmaster is busy revamping our website as it is starting to object when we add new thingsĀ so we will start adding the new items in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime you know you can ring us or email if you want something that isn’t on the website.
The new Rowan Magazine will be out on 15th July and the Rowan yarns are arriving on 1st August. I think it is one of the best Rowan seasons ever. We’re also going to be a stockist of Gedifra. We have dabbled until now but they also have a great winter collection so we coudn’t resist!
